Sumbo Ajanlekoko

Dorcas ‘Sumbo Ajanlekoko is a Child Welfare Official with the State of Maryland Department of Human Resources – Department of Social Services Baltimore City. She embarked on a career advancement at the University of Maryland School of Social Work where she completed the requirements for the Master of Social work degree in 2012 with a primary concentration of Clinical and a secondary concentration of Management and Community Organization with a specialization in Mental Health. She participated in a post-graduate certificate program facilitated by the Department of Human Resources Child Welfare Academy at the University of Maryland School of Work in 2017 She has worked in various governmental agencies such as the Department of Juvenile Services as a Youth Supervisor I, State of Maryland, Department of Social Services as a Family Services Worker II, served as a Social Work Associate with the Government of the District of Columbia – Child and Family Services Agency, Washington DC, USA and Psychotherapeutic Rehabilitation Services, Landover Maryland, USA. She has over 15 years in the Human Services Field. Dorcas is a Licensed Master’s Social Work. She has experience government benefits and entitlements. She is blessed with adults children and a grandson.
